A Preston man has been banned from entering a number of shops across Lancashire after a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) was granted.
Shaun Kellett, 38, of Cross Street, Preston appeared before Blackburn Magistrates last Friday (21st August 2026) following a series of incidents involving theft at shops across Preston.
The order, which will remain in place for 3 years, bans him from entering the following stores:
· Any Home Bargains store in Lancashire
· Any Boots store in Lancashire
· Any Tesco store in Lancashire
The CBO was sought by Preston City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team in partnership with local retailers to help tackle persistent offending and protect shop workers, customers and businesses as part of Operation Vulture.
Failure to comply with the terms of the order is a criminal offence and could result in arrest and further court action.
