We have charged a man following a burglary at a pub in Barnoldswick where a car and a wallet were stolen from a staff room. It happened at the Craven Heifer Inn on Colne Road on 11th January 2026.
Following enquiries a 45-year-old man was arrested on 15th January 2026 on suspicion of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and shoplifting.
We can now tell you that Mark Brighton, 45, of Cleveland Street, Colne, has been charged with burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal and theft of a motor vehicle. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Blackburn Magistrates Court on Friday 16th January 2026.
