A drugs gang which brought misery to the streets of East Lancashire have been jailed for more than 20 years.

The ‘Crazy’ drugs line OCG supplied heroin and crack cocaine over a number of years but were dismantled after a Lancashire Police investigation.

Saeed Aziz, the head of the gang, and his right-hand man Uzair ‘Biggy’ Nazir, were this week jailed along with two others.

We launched an investigation after Aziz was found at an address on Travis Street in Burnley in December 2021 along with weapons, drugs and cash.

Forensic examination identified the drugs as 10 packages of heroin and 14 packages of crack cocaine.

Further enquiries carried out as part of Operation Brimstone identified other members of the ‘Crazy’ line gang.

Saeed Aziz, 25, of Whalley Street, Burnley was jailed this week for ten years nine months after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

Usair Nazir, 24, of Milner Street, Burnley, was jailed for five years five months.

Corey Young, 20, of no fixed address, was jailed for four years and six months and Mohammed Haroon, 24, of Lindsay Street, Burnley, was jailed for two years six months.

They had also admitted conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

Det Sgt Stu Peall said: “This gang brought misery to many through their evil trade of peddling drugs on our streets but thanks to our efforts are now behind bars.

“We will continue to tackle those who bring harm to our communities by dealing in illegal drugs by dismantling these gangs and putting those involved before the courts.”
