Blackpool Police have charged a man with multiple offences after venue staff found drugs and weapons during a routine check.
Police were called to a licenced venue on Market Street, Blackpool, at approximately 11:30pm on Friday 15 May, by the venue’s security staff. During a check in the men’s bathroom, security staff found knuckle dusters, a credit card knife and snap bags of white powder. Police promptly arrived and arrested a man at the scene.
We can now tell you that Sean Beresford of Fairfield Road, Blackpool has been charged with two counts of having possession of an offensive weapon and one count of having possession of a controlled drug (Class A cocaine).
He was charged on 16th May 2026 and will appear before Lancaster Magistrates' Court on 12th June 2026.
