A drug dealer who sold heroin and crack cocaine in East Lancashire has been jailed for 10 years.
Amar Hussain (pictured right) ran the ‘General’ drugs line - a phone number which was used to send out bulk messages that drugs were available for sale.
At the time of Lancashire Police’s investigation into Hussain – between 1st June and 8th July last year – he was on licence from a previous prison sentence for drug dealing.
He was driven around by associates, with the investigation finding that on numerous occasions, Hussain was travelling with the drugs line phone.
Evidence showed that the phone line was also held outside of East Lancashire, with it being in Blackpool, Rochdale, Bury and Bolton.
Hussain, 34, of Hood Street, Accrington, appeared for sentence at Preston Crown Court last Thursday (19th March) after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
The judge jailed for him for 10 years.
Davis Fenton-Hargreaves who worked for Hussain, assisting him with the drug dealing, also appeared for sentence.
Fenton-Hargreaves, 20, of no fixed address, (pictured below) pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply a Class A controlled drug.
He was sentenced to three years and four months custody.
