A man shouted racist abuse at a mother and daughter as they walked their dog.
Darren Wall, 41, approached them as they walked on Harbour Lane, Warton, around 1pm on 4th January.
The mum, aged in her 50s, told Wall to leave them alone, but Wall - described as being intoxicated - got in the face of her and shouted racist abuse.
He continued to swear at them as they walked away, following them to the Morrisons Daily store where staff told him to leave.
Wall walked away but returned to the entrance of the store and shouted more abuse.
Our officers attended and arrested him nearby.
Wall, of Mornington Road, Lytham, pleaded guilty to racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment when he appeared at Lancaster Magistrates Court in April.
Appearing at the same court for sentence last week (13th May), the magistrates passed a 16-week prison sentence which was suspended for 12 months.
Wall was ordered to do 100 hours community service and pay £300 compensation to his victim.
