Two arrested over drug supply in Skelmersdale

Two people have been arrested following a series of drugs warrants in Skelmersdale this morning (Friday 15th May 2026)

Officers from the West Lancs Task Force and Neighbourhood Policing teams carried out the warrant under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act at addresses on Acregate, Elmstead and Beechtrees.

During searches of the properties, officers recovered a significant quantity of Class A drugs, along with a number of mobile phones.

A 39-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, both from Skelmersdale have been arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug and are currently in custody waiting to be questioned.

Operation Warrior is Lancashire Police’s response to tackling serious and organised crime in Lancashire, supported by Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.

It aims to target the individuals and gangs involved in crime, as well as associated issues such as violence and intimidation, large scale drug supply, exploitation, and fraud, all of which can cause serious harm to local communities.
