A man who went on a burglary spree in Lancaster has been jailed for more than seven years.

Shane Brady (pictured right) broke into several houses in the Scotforth area of the city between 2nd July and 24th July this year.
All the homes he targeted were within a short distance of an address where Brady regularly frequented and sometimes stayed.
Cash, laptops, electrical goods, games consoles, mobile phones and jewellery were among the items stole in the burglaries which Brady carried out late at night or in the early hours of the morning.
Brady was arrested by our officers on 25th July having been recalled to prison.
There were no reports of residential burglaries in the Scotforth area or the wider area of south Lancaster in the weeks that followed.
He was interviewed and charged in September having been produced from prison.
Brady, 25, of no fixed address, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Monday where he pleaded guilty to five offences of burglary.
He was sentenced to seven years and 73 days imprisonment.
